A lot, and I mean A LOT, of things happened in 2011. This year was a rollercoaster in the sense of the word. Ups, downs, and everything in between. It was the year we lost Mama and also the year I was blessed with the opportunity to go up the corporate ladder.
I spent six long months away from home, my family and friends in Davao. However, I was able to meet 24 people who I now call my OTP family. I was lucky enough to have spent those months with Fonzi in the same place, making me less homesick. While in Manila, I grabbed the chance to watch one of the best artists of this generation, Jason Mraz, and also be in the live audience of Mr. Ryan Cayabyab’s 1000-voice choir Christmas concert.
Today is January 1, 2012: new day, new year. As I write these words I look back at how 2011 has made me grow so much more than other years past. I come home to a new job, new opportunities and new challenges.
2011 was a good year, but 2012 will be much, much better! And I cannot wait to dive into everything that is new and promising!
Cheers to the new year, full speed ahead, no looking back!
