I see the light

June 2, 2012. Today, one of my best friends, Ana, got married. I have lots of pictures to show and stories to tell about the beautiful wedding, but for now, let me just do a quick post on what I wore.

I had only a little time to look for a beige/cream-colored outfit, so I opted to find dresses at my favorite department stores. Luckily, I found this cute lace and tulle dress at SM Department Store which was simple but pretty and for cheap too! Kept my accessories at a minimum so that it wouldn’t be too distracting. I was deciding on whether to go with a necklace or belt to accent the dress, but chose to use this tan woven belt instead so that the lace details of the dress would be seen. Lastly, I paired it with this vintage purse given to me as a gift way back, and my overused nude pumps.

I was supposed to wear a loose side pony and curl the ends of my hair, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to due to lack of time and common sense (left my hair tie, hair pins at home!). So, like most days, I tied my hair in a bun for a while and let it fall with its natural waves.

The next few photos are a bit blurry since Mona and I are still practicing taking outfit shots with a legit camera. But I’m posting them anyway, because they came out nice.

Do you like my look?
