Today was quite a fruitful day, to say the least. Accomplished more things today than most of the days I get off from work. Usually I’m just a sloth sleeping, watching TV, going on the internet, and repeating the same cycle the next day. Today, I decided to get up early and actually do stuff!
My day was as blooming as my gorgeous Soul Lifestyle floral pants (hence, the blog post title) which I got last week on a whim, simply because they were so pretty, and floral and blue!
Since it’s a Wednesday, my sister wasn’t around to take my photos. I asked one of our companions at home to take the shots. It was her first time to do so, which meant little photos to work on. 😦 Anyhow, off topic, I’ve always noticed I have a “squinty” left eye. Don’t you agree? Just had to include that (lame, I know!). Back to subject then.
I wanted to wear my SM Parisian flats with the pants, so I had to choose a top that would go with the color scheme. I opted to wear my Robinsons Department Store sheer top in gray-ish blue (I’m a walking department store, my gosh!). It’s nice that there are really endless possibilities with these pants. I can already think of other mix and match options for it which includes pastels, brights and even neons. Maybe soon, I can try doing one of those “How to wear in different ways” kind of post.
These shoes! They are so comfy and stylish! I love them so much, that I abuse them by wearing them almost everyday. Glad I bought them along with the leopard print one as well!
Here’s a closer look at the pants, and the fake bag I’m using. By fake, I mean this is not really what I used today, but for the sake of outfit shots, here it is! HAHA
Accented the look with my black and pearl neckpiece, as well as a mix of different bangles and my ever dependable watch. And there you have it, an outfit thrown together in less than 5 minutes, for a very productive day.
So, here’s a photo rundown of what I was able to accomplish today:
The first thing I did was re-organize my closet and accessories desk. So I threw all my clothes on the pull out bed and started from there. My philosophy in all of this mess: “Everything has a place and everything in its place.”
Pretended to be an Architect and drew the “floor plan” of how I wanted the house to look like. My dream renovation.
Went out of the house to buy Christmas decorations with my Mommy. Here she is while we were having dinner at Cafe France at The Peak.
Put up our tree and I’m happy with how it turned out! Mama would be proud of us! By the way, our Santa Elvis says Merry Christmas! 🙂
My day went pretty well, I must say. How about you? How was your day?
