On day two in Singapore, which happened to be my birthday, Sentosa Island was on the plate. Prior to leaving Davao, one of my workmates advised me that it would be best if we purchased our tickets bundled or what was known as the Sentosa two-day fun pass. This pass included a full day of activities around Resorts World and another full day at Universal Studios which was also located inside the compound. We opted to go around the compound on the first day. There are about 20 rides and attractions included, and we did our best to try every last one. Time had not been on our side, however we still had the best time there. Since it was quite hot outside, S.E.A. Aquarium was up first. Ah, what a feeling it was to see how there is a whole new world under the sea (Disney pun not intended). Madame Tussaud’s and the Trick Eye Museum were next, and boy did those two take up a lot of space on my camera. But the most fun would be the Luge ride down to Siloso Beach. It was the same kind of ride we had in Dahilayan, but this time it was a longer track. To top it all off was a waterworks and lights show entitled Wings of Time as the sun set on the island. It was one of the best birthdays I’ve had so far and I think I’d let the pictures tell the rest of the story now.
